Lancashire Business View run a series of dedicated Sub36 networking events each year, with the annual awards as the culmination of the events in October.
Sub36 was designed to create a community for those under the age of 36 to celebrate their career successes, moving up the ranks or already at the top of their game, using their youthful vision to bring ideas that positively disrupt their sectors.
The Sub36 series has now closed for 2019, but check back at the start of next year for details on our 2020 series!
The Sub36 2019 networking events are designed to offer a different format with a livelier and more social feel, at venues that are just a little bit different!
Come along to meet like-minded professionals from across the county in all areas of business, and to have a little bit of fun too!
For the first event in this series, we went to Viddyoze in Preston.
Viddyoze is a Preston based SaaS operation that has been trading for 3 years. They enable customers to create high-quality video animations in just a few clicks for just a few dollars, because it is their belief that video doesn’t need to be difficult to be amazing.
As well as being the launch for this year’s Sub36 series, Viddyoze presented a thirty minute masterclass for our Sub36 audience.
Our second event in the series this year was hosted by the new leisure complex at Barton Grange - The Flower Bowl.
The event saw the launch of our awards with host Mike Stevens and Guy Topping, owner of the Barton Grange Garden Centre, Hotel and The Flower Bowl, plus guest speakers Jaydee Davis from Northern Mentoring Programme, Laura Leyland from Fresh Perspective and Jonathan Finch from Sales Geek.
Following a delicious chippy tea in the Oceans Restaurant guests took to the crazy golf course for a mini-golf tournament. The winners were -
August Sub36 Networking Event, The Forum, Preston
This was the last networking event in our 2019 series taking place before entries close for the Sub36 Awards 2019 on 2 September.
The event included drinks and canapes, details on the awards, and a short Q+A with Sub36 Awards 2018 winners, Lucas Benson from BAE Systems, winner of the Apprentice Award and Natasha Hawthornthwaite from Northern Heart Films, winner of the Creative Award.
