Sales Geek backs Sub36 Awards

July 2020 Event News

Rapidly-growing Altham-based business Sales Geek is backing the Lancashire Business View Sub36 Awards after winning a whole host of their own trophies in the last two years.

The awards campaign culminates in a prize-giving event on October 22 which showcases and celebrates the most exciting up-and-coming entrepreneurs, employees and businesses in the red rose county.

As a supporter of the campaign, Sales Geek will supply a year’s worth of its online specialist sales academy and support to each winner, enabling the company to pass on the knowledge and expertise which helped it become a national success story.

Launched in 2017 by Richard Few, Sales Geek - which is staffed primarily by younger employees - provides the kind of high-end sales services which are ordinarily only available to big businesses. With its unique offer, Sales Geek makes these available to younger and smaller companies and its Institute of Sales Management-accredited offering has already helped more than 150 businesses so far.

The quick success saw Sales Geek win the New Business Award at the 2018 Sub36 Awards, and three more accolades a year later at the Red Rose Awards. Sales Geek now returns in 2020 to encourage and support the next generation, with winners gaining access to the new Sales Hub, their online academy as well as one-to-one tailored advice.

Jonathan Finch, director of group sales and co-founder of the Sales Geek’s digital training arm said: “As the youngest director at Sales Geek, it’s amazing to be involved with the Sub36 Awards and have the ability to network and celebrate some of the immense talent we have in the area. We are absolutely delighted to be involved in the awards celebration and can’t wait to get involved in judging and working with Lancashire Business View to celebrate the best of Lancashire’s talent.”

Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View magazine and founder of the Sub36 Awards, said: “It is fantastic to have Sales Geek on board as a key supporter. Not just because it is exciting to have closely followed their journey from start-up to established player in its field, but also because the services provided will be of genuine value to the winners of our awards.”

The Sub36 Awards 2020 are now open for entries with four new categories. Winners receive a comprehensive package of business support including Sales Geek sales support, funding opportunities from Rosebud and bespoke mentoring via partners Northern Mentoring Programme. Individuals and companies have until August 28 to enter themselves or nominate colleagues and peers. More details can be found online at www.sub36.co.uk
