Sub36 Awards relaunches with new ethical sponsor

February 2020 Event News

Championing this year’s campaign is Positive Pennine, a sub-brand of Pennine Wealth Solutions (PWS) an investment solutions provider for Financial Advisers and their clients. The Positive Pennine brand specialises in sustainable and responsible investing, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

After being a category sponsor in 2019, PWS and Positive Pennine will return as headline sponsor for this year’s awards plus sponsors of the New Business Award. The competition will soon open for entries ahead of its biggest-ever prize-giving ceremony, scheduled for an all-new venue on a date in October yet to be revealed.

With numerous categories spanning all sectors and all levels of experience from apprentices and trainees through to entrepreneurs running their own organisations, the Sub36 Awards recognises achievements at every level. With winner’s packages including mentoring from high profile Lancashire businesses, the awards are a hotly-contested event each year.

Stephen Bolton, commercial director of Lancashire Business View which hosts the awards, said: “The Sub36 Awards are a hugely popular and last year’s event was another massive success.

"But we’re full of ideas and we’re excited to make our next event the biggest and best yet. Positive Pennine is the perfect partner for these awards and other projects throughout 2020 and beyond.

“We’re delighted to have Positive Pennine as headline sponsor. Their dedication to educate investors on how pension and investments can be invested with a social and environmental conscience, is exactly the kind of message we want to spread and makes them the perfect partner for these awards and other projects throughout 2020 and beyond.”

Sean Fisher, business development manager at Pennine Wealth Solutions and Positive Pennine, said: “We are looking forward to being the headline sponsor of this year's Sub36 Awards. Having been involved last year and seeing the enthusiasm for the awards, we are delighted to be involved again this year.”
